Chee Seng is the founder and director of ACUATE. He has been in the learning and development field since 1987, first with the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) and now on his own. He retired from service with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel (LTC), with his last held appointment being Deputy Commander of Signal Institute. Chee Seng’s empathetic people-oriented leadership style has stood him well since his SAF days and into his stint as a General Manager of a multi-national engineering firm and subsequently as a business owner. It has earned him deep respect from his protégés and peers, and contributed to the development and growth of ACUATE. Under his guidance, ACUATE evolved from a Limited Liability Partnership to a Private Limited company with streamlined corporate processes and structure that contribute to its tendering and contracting capacity. Chee Seng is an advocator and practitioner of lifelong learning, who not only talk the talk but also walk the talk.
